My Day Entry 29/12/2006

Today is never a good day for me, today would have been my son Benjamin’s 31st birthday, we lost him to a cot death in 1976 but I cannot help myself from wondering what could have been had he lived.

Life is not fair, it is not a level playing field and some have better luck in life than others, but I am still here and another year is on the horizon, a year that I hope will be better than the last or any that went before for those I love, for all my friends and myself.

Time cannot be repeated, live for the moment as in a moment it will be time past.  Do we make our own luck? Who knows for sure, what we do no though is that if we do not make the most of whatever opportunities present them-selves to us we will regret it.

There are moments in all our lives when we have seen an opportunity to do something and not done it, why, because we feel unsure of ourselves, but you have just got to take the bull by the horns and move forwards, the worst that can happen is that we fail, but what if we win, if we don’t try we don’t ever find out. Me I am going for it, and will find out in the future if it has worked or not. Life it too short not too live it to the full, so I advise that anyone reading this make it their New Years resolution to live life to the full right now!!!

What could have been --- Hasn’t

What should have been---Hasn’t

What can be-------------Might yet happen!
